Awesomeness!

It was the perfect end to my ridiculously, insanely happy day. First of all, I had band practice. I love band practice. Cause I'm obsessed with stringed instruments. And music. (See Obsessions) Then I stayed for Family Reunion, which was wonderful. Everyone was sharing their stories, and sitting in candelight is so beautiful. I felt all warm and fuzzy...awww....

The funniest thing happened. I showed up for band practice about the same time Matt Callis did, and he had the weirdest look on his face. I was just like, "What are you looking at...?" It took me about 30 seconds to figure out there's this new black light fixture thingy right in front of the Shack, and it also took Matt dancing around the thingy (rather exaggeratedly, I may add) for me to figure it out. If Matt hadn't pointed it out, I wouldn't have noticed. I had my iPod on, and 6 times out of 10, when I have on my iPod, I'm pretty much like "screw the rest of you, it's me and Poddy all the way, biyatch!!". Okay, so maybe I'm not that hostile, but it's pretty close.

Anyway, the point. When I was leaving Family Reunion with Lou and Matt Jones, Lou noticed the black thingy for the first time and did the exact same thing. I swear. The dancing around and everything. I had a total deja vu moment, then I started laughing. Isn't it freaky how life works sometimes?
