You know those paintings of dogs playing poker? Amusing, yes. Slightly disturbing? I think so. But are they worth almost 600 thousand green ones? Apparently, a private collector thought so. He bought a pair of them at an auction for $590, 000. I am not making this up. In fact, I will post the link to this story for your viewing pleasure. Just goes to show you- some people will do anything for kitschiness.
And they really like dogs playing poker.
