So much stuff happened at Shack on the Rocks that I need to devote an entry to every day. So please excuse the next four or five entries, which will mostly be a lot of gushing. Sunday night I stayed at the Charles Edwards Apartments. Jessica was painting, Kayla stayed over too, and Fiona is a lot tamer since she got fixed. Yay for spaying, yay for spaying, yay for spaying. Kayla and I hitched a ride with G-Mo and one of his friends whose name I know I can't spell right but was really nice so I feel bad and good Lord, this is a long sentence. We went shopping for fruit. And ate Snackers at KFC. And talked about the beauty of Snackers. And debated over why they shortened it to KFC. (Apparently they use mutant chickens now. Don't ask.) Then we watched Pride and Prejudice and dissed Darcy. He was such a punk. I went to bed and made sure to lock the door so Fiona wouldn't "surprise" me in the morning. However, as soon as I unlocked the door in the morning, Fiona just trotted right in and hopped on my lap as soon as I sat back down.
Next morning, everyone was happy and lugging stuff inside the Shack. However, none were as happy as Matt Cabbil's beagle, who was jumping on everybody and running around like a sugar-intoxicated little kid. And then they go and feed it coffee. And oranges. And bananas.
After receiving a packet with a lemur on it (which I feel was very misleading), we all crammed into various cars. I rode with Lindsay (or does she spell it with an e...?) in her car, along with Eric and Beth. It was rather peaceful. One of the few moments of peace I had. Come on, this is a Shack trip. But more on that next entry.
