Lou showed me this sad little website a few months ago. There was a big picture of an adorable bunny...and then below that, it said, "This bunny will DIE on June 30, 2005 if you don't help!" He then goes on to say that he rescued the bunny- Toby- from the side of the road and nursed him back to health, but he was going to eat him if he didn't get $50,000 in donations. He even had recipes of rabbit dishes- along with pictures of Toby garnished with lettuce, nose twitching. Now, I already thought the guy had no heart and was a money-hungry extortionist, but today, on Toby's supposed death date, I checked the blog, and it says....
"Toby will DIE on November 6, 2006 if you don't help!"
Have you no shame, dude?!! I wonder if he even has a rabbit named Toby! It'd be ironic if Toby had already gone to the big lettuce patch in the sky a long time ago...I wonder if he ever will get that $50,000...
Oh, well. He wasn't getting my money, anyway. Hee hee.
