Wordless

It's 3 am, and I'm wide awake. I just finished up my 2 am shift for the House of Prayer. From 8 pm earlier tonight to tomorrow night at 8, people will be praying in shifts at the Shack for the campus, the world, and our little family. My shift was awesome. I was alone for a good bit of the time, so I got to cry to my heart's content. (For some reason, I can't cry in front of people...I get uncomfortable...) My heart was breaking...for the people affected by Katrina, for the family I feel myself drifting uncontrollably from, even though I'm trying so hard to fix things, for my friends at the Shack and on campus in general who are struggling with various things. I usually can't pray for very long, but I used up the whole hour praying wholeheartedly and communing with God. It was a very special time for me, and I'm glad God was able to use me during that time as well.

So now I'm off to bed for 4 1/2 hours. Then I have Japanese in the morning. And I don't care. Know why? Cause God is good. Cause I can sleep all day after that. And cause I have doubleshot espresso.

Praise the Lord for coffee. :D
