I first heard of Tom Vek when I saw his surreal video on MTVu of "C-C (You Set the Fire in Me)". He's dirty and dressed in this worn soldier uniform with the coat unbuttoned and the top buttons of his shirt undone, playing a drum. There's these two...I don't know what to call them, critters, beside him. One is playing a weird-shaped horn, and the other is holding up a drum that Vek hits every once in a while. And this weird mini-parade marches through an ever-changing landscape. It's a very weird video...but a very cool song.

So of course, I looked it up on iTunes. The rest of the album's okay, but one song really stuck out to me besides "C-C"- "I Ain't Saying My Goodbyes." It's a little grittier, and it's fun to dance to. So I looked up the lyrics, and low and behold...the mp3 of that exact song is on Tom Vek's site for free.
