Liza's Exam Prayer Service

I was at the Shack yesterday, standing in the doorway so I'd be a safe distance from the Mortal Kombat match of Monkey and Emo (and that's all I'm going to say about it), when Lou came by. She stayed to watch the match for a few minutes, then mentioned that she had her piano exam in a few minutes. She looked pretty stressed out about it, so I promised to pray for her and sent her off with my best wishes.

A few minutes later, as I was walking to get some of that stuff they call food from Russell House, Lou came to mind, and I felt like I really needed to pray for her right that minute instead of waiting to go back to my room, so I said a quick prayer right then. It went something along the lines of "I'm not even going to worry about it, cause I know You'll be right there with her, and she'll do great. Cause she's Lou."

Eh-heh-heh...I'm not very big on the "thees and thous", if you couldn't tell.

So at band practice that night, Lou told me that she had been really freaking out (and messing up pretty bad, according to her), then she suddenly remembered, "Liza's praying for me", and she immediately felt calmer. She ended up acing the test, so of course there was squealing happy time for us after I heard that.

I wonder if I had been praying for Lou right at that moment...it wouldn't surprise me if I had. God's so cool like that.

And Lou called me just now before her exam today. I dunno, but I think I'm beginning to feel used...just kidding.
