Concerning my title, I'm looking at this "beef stick" (cheap Slim Jim) that I am eating and wondering if it has any...I looked at the ingredients a few months ago. You don't want to know what's in this thing...
But it's good. So I'm eating it away.
Tonight begins my very first Shopping Day experience. For Honors College people, signing up for honors classes is an arduous experience. First you have to go to a seperate advisement, then you have to go back after you've registered with your regular classes and tell the people you want to keep the honors classes you signed up for. Cause if you don't...your classes go bye-bye.
But there is a small glimmer of hope. For people who didn't get the classes they wanted (and those poor souls who forgot to confirm their classes), the course slots that are open are posted outside the Honors College office, and then on Shopping Day, a long line is formed, and it's first come, first serve on the courses buffet.
Now, the only way you have any chance of getting anything is if you sleep over. Yes, people actually sleep over in the Honors College offices until the next day. So tonight, I'll grab some blankies and hang out with my suitemate while we wait out our classes. I'm probably not going to get the class I want, and I don't even want it that bad, but I heard it was fun sleeping over, and I'm bored.
You see that I have no life. But this is one of those things that make good blog fodder, and I've been having writer's block lately... It's all for you nice people!
Not really, but if you want to think that, by all means.
