This was the wrong song to have Poddy play tonight. I started getting all sentimental before I even set foot in the Shack, but luckily, I made myself clam up. It was weird...it didn't feel like saying goodbye. More like see you later. Callis told me we should just say goodbye like we always do- I guess like we know we'll see each other again. We still laughed a lot and acted stupid like always. Cabbil made weird noises, Baker was playing Frisbee, and Callis was singing loudly to emo. And I thought, "All is right with the world." And yet, when I come back, they won't be here.

....Oh, sure. The tears come now. But I'm so proud of these guys. In their own ways, they're daring to see what else they can do with their lives. They've already done plenty, but yeah. I guess it is time to move forward.

I said my goodbyes and started walking back to my dorm. On the way, I did something I never do- I turned around and looked back. And what I saw was friends. And home. And I thought, "This is my life." And I'm exactly who and where I want to be right now.

Wow. I never thought I'd be able to say that again...God is good. And friends are awesome.
