I do SO blog!

Because certain people are claiming I don't blog anymore, even though I blogged 4 days ago (mmm-hmm), I feel compelled to tell you people about my day. I want to pass out right now, though. I'm getting sick. The angel on my shoulder is saying, "You must press on and blog! And study!" And the devil is saying, "Screw this and school! It sucks! It all sucks! Sleep NOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!"

But I will persevere. Sniff.

I went to First Baptist this morning. It's been a while since I've gone to morning church while I'm in Columbia. I think I'll stick with it. Part of me wants to stay home and take advantage of those few extra hours of sleep and studying (yeah, studying, heh heh...), but I really like it at church. I feel as though I should keep my view of Christianity open, so I like to mix up the types of Christian functions I go to. It's the main reason I go to CRU, though to be honest, I get a lot more out of my Bible study for that than the Thursday night meetings. Plus, being very shallow here, church is an excuse to dress up. That's always a plus for a girly-girl like me. I never have time to dress up during the week, not even wear makeup...waah... And no, I did not wear pink. I wore blue, in fact.

I walked to First Baptist from my dorm. On the way there, I was walking really fast because I thought I would be late, even though I knew my shoes would kill the tops of my feet if I walked too fast in them. Sure enough, I had small lesions swelling up on my feet by the time I got to the sanctuary. When I walked back, my feet were so sore, I ended up taking off my shoes and walking through the Horseshoe barefoot. I liked it. That disturbed me. Jones said he was proud.

Lou was wearing a dress over jeans, which is the style nowadays. Some of the bandmates dubbed it a "dhirt", pronounced "dirt". That was like a running joke all through practice today. Oh, the mini-jokes that were spawned from that portmanteau...

Oh, yeah, the theme for Shack on the Lake this year is "Samurai of the Caribbean". Garrett Photoshopped Pirates of the Caribbean and The Last Samurai together...it was hilarious. I'm still debating whether or not to go, since it's only 20 bucks...ah, well. Ja ne!

WHAT? Debating? Oh, no, Liza honey, you're going to Shack on the Lake. There's no jury out.
