The new album I bought from iTunes= pretty cool. It's Dawn Escapes by Falling Up. It's crazy cause the music's angsty with a little taste of synthesizer or keyboard or something (reminds me of Evanescence), but the voices are sort of...well, cheerful. Ah, the paradoxes of Christian music. :) But the music is very, very good. And so are the vocals, they just seem a little out of place to me. I guess I'll get used to it.
Last Reunion of the semester. Waah...but it was fun. Lou was gone...I missed that violin. And her wild screaming. :D But it was so funny cause we got in practice and we were all like, "Let's do all the songs Lou hates! [insert evil cackling here]". But eventually, that wasn't the main objective...promise. :) What we ended up doing were dusting off two songs we haven't done in a loooong time ("Faintly" and "You") and some old standards ("Rain Down", "Sanctify", and "Follow"). And it was all on a nice blue background with snowflakes...to make up for the fact that we weren't doing Christmas songs. Eh heh heh....
Finals tomorrow. Waah-haah. I have to make A's on all of my exams to keep the grades I want in those classes, so it's a lot of pressure. But it's okay. I can make a B at least and still keep my scholarships, so it's cool. I can definitely do it. But keep me in your prayers, 'kay? :D
I just figured out to describe Falling Up. They're like Relient K and Evanescence's lovechild. XD
