During my freshman year, I taped fortune cookie fortunes to my door. Some were profound, and some were just weird. It made me happy when I would come back to my room and there'd be a new fortune there that someone had added.
Anyway, I still collect my fortune cookie fortunes just for fun. I really liked the one I got today: "Seize from every moment its uniqueness, especially this week." Oh, yeah, and my lucky numbers are 9, 10, 18...heh. Just kidding. Anyway, that is so my mantra. I love it when I can take joy in the little things or the unexpected things in life, and I'm going to try to live my life to the fullest this summer and fall- by taking in every moment and treasuring every one.

i collect cookie fortunes too!! i love them. the one i got last week said "something unusual will happen at school or work next week" and today i got a new job. weird...
